About me
Hello there, and thanks for stopping by!
I’m Terence Casey, the proud husband of my lovely wife Steph, and the father of three lively lads – James, Charlie, and Thomas. We’re all settled here in Rosemount, Co. Westmeath, right in the heart of Ireland.
By day, I’m an art teacher in a secondary school, but when I’m not teaching, you’ll find me writing and illustrating children’s books.
Each of my stories features animals that are part of our world—whether they’re pets who live with us or creatures that have passed through our garden in Rosemount over the years. Every creature has a story to tell – and I’m lucky enough to share their adventures with young readers.
Take a look around my site to discover more about my books, illustrations, and the creative process behind them. I hope you enjoy exploring the stories and bringing a bit of the magic of nature into your own lives.
Thanks for visiting, and I look forward to sharing more with you soon!
Slán agus beannacht,
Terence

Westmeath author Terence Casey has written a second children’s book, ‘Thumper Journey to Animal Haven’, which follows the real-life adventures of a pet rabbit. The Evolution of a Garden
The Evolution of a Garden In the beginning, our garden wasn’t much to look at. A wild, overgrown quarter-acre, it had thrived on neglect, becoming a forgotten little wilderness. Thirty years earlier, it had been a green space where my wife, Steph, played tennis as a child. She even kept…
